We split the 32 matches between eight articles. In addition to this articles, the other feature Amanda Anisimova vs Yulia Putintseva, Elina Svitolina vs Anna Bondar, Emma Raducanu vs Mingge Xu, Leylah Fernandez vs Hannah Klugman, Madison Keys vs Elena Gabriela Ruse, Naomi Osaka vs Talia Gibson, and Jasmine Paolini vs Anastasija Sevastova. Predicting these matches are Jordan Reynolds, Nurein Ahmed, and Yesh Ginsburg. Who do you think will win?

Wimbledon Day 1 Women’s Predictions
Shuai Zhang vs Olga Danilovic
Jordan:
Danilovic is less comfortable on grass than the other surfaces. This draw gives the Serbian a decent chance of avoiding an opening round exit. Zhang is a former quarterfinalist at Wimbledon, but the 36-year-old has been past her prime for a while. Danilovic is backed to win a competitive match.
Prediction: Danilovic in 3

Danilovic usually shines on slower clay where her topspin forehand does a lot of damage. But if you still take out that forehand weaponry, she is vastly superior to Zhang. The Chinese has instinct and doubles experience which might help, but only partially.
Prediction: Danilovic in 2
