Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end, is gearing up to host his second annual car show, just days before his older brother, Jason Kelce, is set to commentate on the Chiefs’ game against the New Orleans Saints on ESPN.
The charity event, organized by Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation, will take place on October 5th and aims to support disadvantaged children in achieving success across the United States.
Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has been vocal about his commitment to giving back to the community.
As a kid, I was mindful of how life looked different for everyone, but as a man, I am profoundly aware of the difference in opportunity, exposure, and privilege I grew up with compared to others,” Kelce stated on the 87 & Running website. “The situation we’re born into or the color of our skin should have no impact on our dreams. You can dream, and it’s a beautiful thing when a kid’s dream comes true.”
The event, dubbed “Car Jam 2024,” will feature Kelce’s personal collection of vehicles, as well as some of the top automobiles from Kansas City. Tickets for the event will go on sale on September 4th for $87 each. Kelce, a self-proclaimed “motohead,” owns an impressive array of cars, many of which will be on display at the event.
Among Kelce’s prized vehicles is a Rolls-Royce Ghost, valued at $348,000, which gained attention last season when he was spotted driving pop superstar Taylor Swift to Peros, an Argentinian steakhouse in Kansas City. The couple also made headlines when they drove off into the sunset in a 1970 custom Chevrolet Chevelle SS, estimated at $115,000, after Swift attended her first Chiefs game on September 24, 2023.
