Taylor Swift proved she’s a big fan of Eminem as he opened the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday night in New York.

The superstar, 34, was filmed by MTV standing up in her seat and dancing inside the UBS Arena while the rapper, 51, performed his latest single Houdini.

She grooved along to the song’s catchy lyrics with her close pal Margaret Qualley, who is married to Swift’s longtime producer Jack Antonoff.

Swift is the night’s leading nominee with 12 nominations and she wowed on the red carpet in an edgy green plaid frock — sparking speculation she may drop the re-recording of her 2018 Reputation album.

Her appearance at the annual ceremony comes less than 24 hours after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 United States presidential race.

After glimpsing Swift’s dance moves, fans of the Anti-Hero hitmaker flocked to social media to share their reactions.

She received a ton of praise for always ‘supporting’ other artists and many begged her to collaborate with the legendary MC.

‘Shes just so supportive of everyone we love,’ one fan gushed on X (formerly Twitter) during the show.

‘Even Taylor Swift knows real music,’ another remarked.

Moments after Eminem’s peformance, Taylor took home the first award of the night — Song Of The Summer — for Fortnight featuring Post Malone.

This year’s VMA festivities will be hosted by rapper Megan Thee Stallion and will be held at the UBS Arena in Long Island on September 11.

Stallion, 29, is herself nominated for five awards, including best collaboration and best hip-hop. She previously won best power anthem for Hot Girl Summer.

The evening will be a who’s who of music superstars with Sabrina Carpenter, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, LISA, Lenny Kravitz, Anitta, Karol G, LL Cool J, and Shawn Mendes all set to perform at the show.

The MTV VMAs will air live on 8pm ET/PT.

This year’s recipient of the legendary Video Vanguard Award will be Katy Perry.
