The decision to block Pride content was officially justified by the platform as a measure to protect minors. “We must ensure that any content that could potentially be harmful is either restricted or removed from the platform,” the statement said. “Pride content has been identified as potentially harmful to underage users due to its nudity and depiction of sexual orientation.”
