breaking : june first A Fans Bully Jason Kelce for inresponsible to the family kylie kelce and children.
When the latest episode of New Heights dropped on Wednesday, May 29, Swifties wasted no time in finding what they believed to be a not-so-subtle hint about Swift and Travis’ relationship status. In fact, some even think that Jason indicated that the couple are even already engaged or married.
The Kelce brothers were discussing a Reddit “conspiracy theory” that posited that Travis has a role in the upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel — which the Kansas City Chiefs tight end denied — when they delved into their favorite characters from Adam Sandler movies. Namely, Jason asked his brother which characters they were most like.
For Jason, Travis said, “It’s either Bobby Boucher [from The Waterboy] or The Wedding Singer.”
Jason, for his part, immediately told Travis that he “thought of The Wedding Singer for you” — shooting the camera a deadpan stare as Travis laughed.
Another fan summarized Travis’ response with emojis, tweeting: “jason: “the wedding singer,” travis: 😝💕☀️😜,” alongside a clip from the moment in the podcast.
Other fans, however, believe that people shouldn’t jump to conclusions.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Jason Kelce is not trying to send people hidden messages that Travis and Taylor are engaged/married by mentioning the movie The Wedding Singer on a podcast,” one person emphasized.
Another agreed. “Travis is a big fan of Adam Sandler movies and he likes all different characters, you are just fixating on the wedding singer just to fit your narrative. It’s giving desperate,” they wrote.
As Swift and Travis continue to take their relationship all around the world — most recently in Europe on the singer’s Eras Tour — an Us Weekly source put rumors of a Swelce engagement to rest.
“Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” the insider shared. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
