‘Something didn’t feel quite right about this’: Prince Harry may have ‘lied’ about King Charles snub to garner sympathy
A royal insider has claimed Prince Harry lied about being snubbed by his father King Charles during a recent trip to London and claimed it was the Duke of Sussex who turned down an invitation to the palace.
A bombshell report by a royal insider has alleged Prince Harry’s spokesperson lied to the media about King Charles snubbing his younger son during the Duke of Sussex’s recent London trip.
Harry, 39, returned to the United Kingdom earlier this month to mark the tenth anniversary of his signature Invictus Games foundation but the special cathedral service at St Paul’s was snubbed by the entire royal family.
Ahead of the trip, an official Sussex spokesperson confirmed Harry would not see his father King Charles during the visit due to the monarch’s busy schedul
In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” the spokesperson said.

However, a major royal insider has alleged that claim was not entirely correct and the King did extend an invite to his younger son to visit Buckingham Palace which was rebuffed.
“I just thought something didn’t feel quite right about this, so I dug away and dug away a bit deeper and found out that actually, Harry had asked if he could stay and Charles had said ‘yes, come and stay son,'” Sunday Times Royal editor Roya Nikkhah alleged on a podcast on Monday.
“‘You come and stay in a royal residence, you are near where I am so it’s going to be much easier for me to see you given what’s going on with my diary and your diary.'”
The royal reporter took aim at subsequent photos from the service that showed a lonely Prince accompanied by no one except for a few relatives from the Spencer side of the family.

The images prompted a rare outpouring of sympathy for the Duke, which Ms Nikkhah slammed as a “narrative from Harry”.
“Actually the reality was Charles said ‘yes please do come and stay in a royal palace and that would make it much easier for me to see each other,'” she claimed.
Harry ultimately left London a day after the service at St Paul’s and immediately flew to Nigeria to embark on a mock “royal tour” with his wife Meghan Markle.
The visit reportedly infuriated the King who may use his power as monarch to block the Sussexes from further mock royal tours of the Commonwealth.
“The ultimate fear for King Charles and William is that Meghan’s rebelliousness actually ends up making her more appealing than the understated members of official team royal,” an unnamed source told The Mirror last week.
