W półfinale HME wystąpią 24 sprinterki – po cztery najszybsze z pięciu biegów eliminacyjnych i cztery pozostałe z najlepszymi czasami
Startowały dwie Polki. Aleksandra Piotrowska odpadła w eliminacjach
Swoboda wynikiem 7,14 wygrała piąty bieg. Szybsze w eliminacjach były tylko Włoszka Zaynab Dosso – 7,06 i Patrizia van der Veken z Luksemburga – 7,11.
